Monday, Monday

Finally got something finished. But before I show and tell, make sure to pop over to Judy's to see what's up with everyone else.
Now to the good stuff.......
I made a baby quilt for my new grandson, Austin.

Thought I'd get it done before he turned 21.....LOL
He's only a couple of months old, so I am very happy that I got busy so quickly.
The quilt measures 36 inches square.
I used scrappy blocks from my stash.

I knew that I wanted to use some of my animal print fabrics so I made his name from several smaller prints.
The center square looked so empty that I added the rabbit in a running mode and the sun with rays reaching toward the ground.
I quilted it in a meandering style and got it bound the same day. I'll give it to him sometime this week.
