Flags On A Stick - Blog Hop

Hi Yall!

Today's my day, along with my other bloggers, to show off our efforts!
Please sit back and enjoy all the wonderfully creative bloggers.
Welcome to Ravelly1 (AKA) Rhonda's blog.
Many thanks to our host Madame Samm and our great cheerleader Thearica

Ravelly1 - You are here!!
In Stitches and Seams

I live in a little community in central Texas where cows, horses, wild hogs, deer and all sorts of critters roam the land. When I first saw this blog hop I immediately signed up with no real idea in mind. As it always happens, life got in the way and I thought I'd have to pull out of the and even said as much to our wonderful cheerleader Thearica. But just this week I was able to pull something off.

I did a cowboy in silhouette...
Love that rugged look, don't you?

Added a wooden fence....Love that fabric, BTW.
Fixing fence is a way of life for a cowboy.

Doesn't he look handsome, rugged, mysterious......oh sorry.....now where was I.

Here the flag on my spotty lawn.

And here's my cowboy in action!!

And now for the give away. I'll bet you thought I'd forgotten.
I have two designs for the give away.
Just leave a comment to be counted. You don't have to be a FOLOWER.
I'll even ship to oversees participants.
I'll announce a winner on April 4th. Make sure I can contact you. If I can't, the give away will be given to the next number!!

I am very glad that you didn't pull out of the hop. This cowboy is phenomenal. You certainly caught the essence of the cowboy. The fence is a great touch, too. I'm glad to see you back in hops. Thanks for the inspiration and the spirit of getting things finished.

I love that cow bow..what a great idea. We too live way in the country. We do not have cows or horses but I do have a cowboy that works for his neighbor, which owns over 1000 acres with lots of horses. He loves it. He looks similar to the cowboy in your flag. I love it!

VERY handsome cowboy indeed!!! Fantasy cowboys are great but you have a real live cowboy, which is awesome! I live in Wisconsin, we have cows but no cowboys :( We call ours farmers.

Brenda said...

The stark black and white really emphasized the dramatic figure. And the fence is great; adds the right touch. Don't tell, but I was always secretly in love with the Marlboro man (men). You're probably too young to remember them, and, in any event, all or most have died of lung cancer.

Needled Mom said...

Excellent!!!! I love it and it is a perfect flag for you.

Carol Swift said...

Your cowboy is so awesome as a silhouette and it looks great with that lettering. This is a really beautiful flag...nice job!

I'm SEW glad you didn't pull out. This flag is really superb and so appropriate for your farm or do you call it a ranch?!! I also live on a farm but I'm in Alabama. The cowboy silhouette is very well done...looks like the Marlboro Man.
