Scrap Bag

This is one of my scrap bags that I've been working on to deplete.  However, I don't think it's working. I've been sewing for three days and as you can see the bag's still full. I placed the 3 quart Clorox bottle there just to show how large that bag is. I am determined to make a dent in this bag.
Does anyone else have this problem of multiplying scraps. Personally I think the fabric Gnome is behind this phenomenon.
I've been sewing strips together to make piano keys for the second border around the quilt I posted yesterday. I'll be reporting with more soon.

funny, when you first start quilting - it doesn't multiply. But after a year or two, it seems too.

Oh, yes....BIG problem here, too. I really should just find a new quilter and gift that person with some bags of scraps AND a couple of scrappy patterns!!!

I am convinced they multiply during the night.

It's sure a fun dilemma, though!

I've been trying to rid myself of 30's reproduction fabric for over a year. I have made 4 quilts using what I have and there is still a box of it sitting in the studio. I can't throw out fabric I paid for so I guess quilt #5 will be coming up soon.

Fabric gnomes are a world wide phenomena, they seek out fabric stashes everywhere, in fact they have stash radars! and do their darstidely deeds in the dead of night, how do I know LOL!!!!

Don't count the days, make the days count!
