Armed for Gardening

Let's see.....gloves-check, trowel-check, hat-check, seeds-check, plow-check, watering hose-check.........
What am I missing?  Oh, yea......shotgun-check.....you never know when some critter might appear to do you bodily harm.
Welcome to my meager garden in the country.  Let's hope something grows so that mom and I can enjoy the fruits of my labor, so to speak.
We have lots of deer around so I'm hoping this little fence will hold them off. I know it will keep the rabbits out.

lol I nearly fell in the floor laughing. Hubbykins saw the first photo and said "Snakes?" You need a strap for that shotgun so you can sling it over your back.

After the story of you brothers and the "wild hog" I think that shotgun is a good idea.

I hope you have great abundance from your garden spot.

Oh, I know the shotgun is a necessity. I recall that snake that was pestering you (think it was last year??) Maybe you need some serious boots, too...I'm just sayin'

If I were a critter, I would hi-tail it outta thar! We worked outside on our meager city garden as well! Nothing like home-grown-tomatoes.

You forgot your Hot Mama chicken Lovin' apron! Don't you just love those gloves??? My hubs planted some onions where the hay was stacked this winter but it is still a bit early for anything else yet--good luck!

;-}

Don't count the days, make the days count!
