I was born in 1955 and in all my years of living, I developed a diverse and eclectic taste in music. When I was small, my brother and I listened to the radio station ..... WLAC-1510 with John R. & Hoss Allen Nashville, Tennessee and WBAP-820
They placed some great songs and all on the AM stations.
Mom had a collection of "78 rpm" records (that's the speed which the record turns not the number records Mom had......for those who haven't a clue of this old school stuff) that I love to listen to such Roy Hamilton, Johnny Mathis, Percy Faith, Brook Benton, The Platters and Dinah Washington.
As I grew up in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, B.B. King, the Beatles, James Brown, The Temptations, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Diane Ross, The Jackson 5, The Beach Boys, Earth-Wind & Fire, 3 Dog Night, AWB, The Mamas & the Popas, James Taylor.....that list goes on and on
My point, I've come to enjoy just about every style of music. I wanted to share one of my favorites with you.
What are some your favorites? I'd love to here about them.

Growing up my parents were always listening to Country Western-Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash and they would toss in a 50's "rock" song now and then. I'm not far behind you, 1958, so we grew up probably listening to the same music. I've got music on my blog and those are just a few of my favorites.
You inspired me to make Bread Pudding, but I ended up making Banana Bread Pudding from a recipe I found on line from Emeril. Complete with Butter Rum sauce....it was yummy! Thanks for the inspiration.
My parents were country all the way so that is what I always heard... Dolly Pardon, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash...etc...but I did not start liking country until I worked in a bakery and had tiime to really listen to the music...they told stories...and I began to appreciate it after that.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I love hand-stitching. You have so much more control than with machine stitching. It just takes LOTS longer. 8)
I love lots of different types of music too, except for most rap, that is. And I've never really warmed up to jazz that much either.
