Inspirations

Okay, so yesterday I was
searching through my stash looking for a certain fabric, when I ran across a bag.  I always look before I trash anything.  I'm glad I did.  Looky what I found.......2 tins of Moda 2 1/2" squares.  I vagely remember buying these a "few" years ago.  At the time, I had an idea of making.........something........LOL......but obviously, these got pushed to the back of the stash and buried.
After finding them, I'm inspired, again, to make........something such as that
Odd Star from a previous post..........but my mind is teaming with ideas
though I can't settle on any of them.......
so stay tuned.
And if you have any suggestions of what I should make of these, please share them with me!

Isn't fun to discover lost goodies? Can't wait to see your project.

What a FIND.....good thing you looked in that bag. Those two tins of squares are way too valuable to have ended up tossed!!!

It's like finding buried treasure, in a way.

great find Rhonda. I think you should make a hexagon mat. Perfect size for them.

Just checked out your Odd Star post! I have some of those nickels I didn't know what to do with. Now I do! Thanks for the Inspiration!

Oo-o-o, I so LOVE finds like that! It's like goodies for free! Okay, so they cost once, but nothing out of pocket now!
I like the odd star, or stretched star, or whatever, it will be great! I did a red, black and cream table runner like that and was very pleased with the results. Have fun!

I bet you a glad that you looked in the bag. While "de-cluttering" and organizing my stash over the past week, I have to admit I found somethings I had forgotten about. Happily I still like the stuff....
