Apron Fever

I'm in yet another "apron swap" with some good friends. Our theme was CHOCOLATE......one of my favorite subjects. Anyway, we were to make an apron for our secret buddy to send along with 2 chocolate recipes, cooking utensils and chocolate, of course. Mine is finally on its way! You can't really see the color but it's pink/brown fabric.

Favorite Fabric Monday

"Buckaroos" - from Phillip de Leon for The Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection. This great fabric comes in several backgrounds. I have it in a light blue and a beige as well. Can't have enough of it.......LOL........It's great in designs like "Yellow Brick Road," "Irish Chain," & the center of Log Carin blocks.

Books For.........

The other day, I was able to find several books for Ayden's birthday which is next month. She loves books, loves to leaf through them like she sees her mommy doing. There was a Book Fair at your local school so I dove right in and cleaned up. Can't wait to give these to her. Now, all I have to do is find an age appropriate toy.

A Family

I can't believe that GoGo's grandbaby - Ayden is a month away from her first birthday....wow! It seems like it was just yesterday that she was born..............hummmmmmm.....what to get her for her "first?" I'll have to do some research......something educational yet fun.......LOL........please, help me! Any suggestions from all my blogger friends!

"Roundup by Moda" isn't this an absolutely great fabric? I originally bought 8 yards and have used it many times. It was one of those that when I saw it, I had to have it!!!!!!!!!! I know some of you have felt that kind of fever......LOL

53rd Church Homecoming

Brown Chapel welcomed its families, friends and community at our annual homecoming. Each family received a souvenir booklet of information concerning our church and cemetery.
