Can't Get Enough/Borders

I can't get over the things my Janome 11000 can do or the fact that it can communicate with my computer. My grandfather would have loved this technology! Anyway, I ordered, downloaded, extracted then uploaded the "Hands on Bible" design. Within an hour and a half (actual time 53 minutes but I was busy elsewhere) the design was stitched out and volia.....5 1/2" X 7" Finally, I got the borders to this little quilt put on. If you'll remember, I finished putting the blocks together at a recent retreat....weeks later.....all done. Hooray! 41" X 42 1/2"

Rhonda, great job. I love the bordes you added to the Western quilt. It looks great.

That is just lovely!! I love the comment about your grandfather--I think my grandma would have just loved quilting (she was an amazing crochet expert). I have a Janome 6600--no embroidery capability in a formal sense but I have used some of its fancy stitches to make willow tree branches on a recent quilt--Janome makes a great machine, don't they?

Both of your projects are gorgeous! The patterns you chose go so perfectly together and the Hands on Bible pattern is so peaceful.
