Wheeeeew! What a challenge. I knew I wanted to add log cabins around this little quilt so I made ninety-six 3 1/2" log cabins..... Yeeeaa! What was I thinking?(#(*$#&)~ Anyway, I got-her-done. Next, I had to figure out how many that would go on the sides and top/bottom. Shhhh....I had to trim off just a little of the yellowish border, but everything turned out alright.
I don't know what I'll do next but wish me luck.

I would never have thought of doing that....how cool is that?? Thanks for the great idea, and welcome to the Quilt Studio ring! I'm just getting around to blogging this month.
Wow that border was a nice add!
I love the log cabin border!! You do have patience to make that many but it is a great idea!
That's very pretty! Something that picks up the red in that center block would look nice.
